Synopsis: The kingdom of God is a Kingdom of rightly ordered loves. Paul and the Philippian’s affections are shaped by the Lord Jesus Christ. They affections are positive, mediatorial, grateful, hopeful and unified. The Love of God shapes Paul’s affections and flows through Paul outward toward his fellow citizens. This is the Mind of Christ Paul wants to remind the Philippians about.
