Making Progress in 2014
Sermon Overview:
Making progress as a Christian is not a fixed system of steps that works like a transmission that shifts from one gear to the next. It is a process by which we continually learn to put off our flesh, and strengthen the inward man. And as a result, we find ourselves going backward a lot in order to learn needed lessons. So throughout life God will continually allow failure in our lives to cut us off from our flesh, and train us to strengthen the inward man.
Scripture reading:
John 15:1-11
