Men at Work
Sermon Overview:
Gene Veith says “the doctrine of vocation helps Christians see the ordinary labors of life to be charged with meaning. It also helps put their work into perspective, seeing that their work is not serving them, but that they are resting in the grace of God, who in turn works through their labors to love and serve their neighbors.”
Sermon Outline:
1. Our vocation fulfills the Creation Mandate and the Great Commission
2. Our vocation are specific to our circumstances
3. Our vocations are about serving others
Scripture Reading:
Genesis 2:15
