The Unforgivable Sin (Mark 3:20-30)
Sermon Overview:
Many Christians worry about committing the unforgivable sin. It requires careful study of the text to determine what the unforgivable sin even is, and who is in danger of committing it. Jesus and the Spirit are witnesses to God’s will for the whole world. Rejecting Jesus is evil, but there is still hope, there is still time, there is still another helper. Rejecting the second witness of the Holy Spirit, however, leaves one open to the condemnation and vengeance of the Lord in eternal hellfire.
Scripture Reading:
Hebrews 10:19-39; Mark 3:20-30
