Luke: Jesus is the Light (Luke 8:16-18)
Sermon Overview:
Jesus is the light that overcomes our darkness. Therefore, we need to listen carefully to know Jesus and what he has done. Otherwise, we can be walking in darkness thinking we know the light.
Sermon Outline:
1) Disciples are given light in order to bring light into the darkness
2) What is cloudy and obscure will be made plain and obvious
3) We need to be careful how we listen… so we see Jesus
Scripture Reading:
John 1:1-13
