Luke: Jesus is the Fulfilled Promise
Sermon Overview:
Luke 3:23-38
Through the genealogy we see that Jesus is proven to be the promised Son of Man and Son of God. For through it we can prove that he is the Seed of Adam, the Seed of Abraham, The Seed of David, the Son of Man. God is meticulous and very particular about his promise, and the genealogy proves this. However, in keeping his promise, his timing clearly isn’t our timing, but his promise never fails.
Sermon Outline:
1. The line of Mary
2. The promises
3. The amazing faithfulness of God

4. Do you find it hard to wait on God's promises? What helps you to hold fast?
