What Sin Does to Christians
Sermon Overview:
It is easy for us Christians to become confused about the impact of sin in our lives because of what we know about Jesus and what he came to do. As a result, we can think we are either immune to sin’s consequences, or are uncertain of where exactly we stand with sin. We know things have changed since the fall, but we aren’t always certain as to how much.
Sermon Outline:
1. Sin, Death and the Devil have been dealt with by Jesus
2. Sin still brings with it a kind of death within God’s house
3. Sin has consequences, even for Christians
Scripture Reading:
1Cor.10:1-13
