CloseSermon Overview:
When it comes to observing Jesus, his great popularity and his amazing power, it isn’t hard to think about how amazing it would have been to be there at the time and experience the greatness of it all. However, as we remember that he is still living and active today, and retell the stories of what he is currently doing in our lives, we begin to seek him as the Jesus who lives today, and stop thinking about him as the powerful man who lived long ago.
Sermon Outline:
1. Great multitudes sought Jesus because he was delivering them (v.17-18)
2. Great power went out from Jesus by simply touching him (v.19)
Scripture Reading:
Isaiah 9:1-7
