CloseSermon Overview:
The religiosity we might see in some is not far from what we can easily become. There is a part of us that tends to put high standards on others that we know we can't bear ourselves, to exalt truth while hating being confronted by it, and to withhold truth for own gain. We aren't immune from being affected by this deadly disease.
Sermon Outline:
1) You put high standards on others that you yourself don't uphold
2) You act like you honor the truth, but you hate being confronted by it
3) You withhold knowledge in order remain in control
Scripture Reading:
James 1:19-27
