CloseSermon Overview:
Every one of us needs to beware of hypocrisy for several reasons. First of all, the temptation toward it increases as our positions in life increase. Second, it is THE ugly mark of what it means to be a Pharisee. And most importantly, we have to realize that it will be exposed in the end in the most unpleasant way.
Sermon Outline:
1) Hypocrisy will be a temptation as position increases
2) Hypocrisy is at the heart of every Pharisee
3) Hypocrisy will be exposed in the end
Scripture Reading:
Matthew 6:1-6, 16-21
