Luke 2: 39-52
1. Jesus… a growing boy, and yet, manifesting the wisdom of God v.39-40
2. Jesus… an inquisitive boy, and yet, having the understanding of God v.46-47
3. Jesus… loved his heavenly Father above all, and yet, loved his earthly parents perfectly v.49-52
Sermon Overview:
Jesus, before he is anointed in his office as Messiah, is already revealing himself to be the Son of Man and the Son of God. And he has done this by his growth as a person and manifestation of God’s wisdom, his learning as a child, yet his understanding of the Scriptures, and his submission to his parents, along with his love for The Father.
