Luke: The Forerunner to Jesus
Sermon Overview:
Luke 1:8-25
The events leading up to the birth of Jesus reveal that God was leaving no rock unturned when it came to fulfilling his promise to save the world. But in how this unfolds we also see that sometimes even the best of men doubt God's promises because they seem so contrary to how the world works. Yet, this all makes better sense when we understand how creation really works.
Sermon Outline:
1) God is faithful to his Word in the details v.8-17
2) The most godly men can be doubting at times v.18-20
3) Creation only does what it is told v. 21-25
Scripture Reading:
Malachi 3:1-12
