The Parables of the Kingdom (Mark 4:26-34)
Sermon Overview:
Jesus’ kingdom doesn’t come suddenly all at once; neither does sanctification or maturity. Jesus doesn’t despise the day of small beginnings, so neither should we. Faith and hope are established on promises: promises long in their fulfilling, by God’s Providence. In good soil, the Seed of God will bear fruit - it’s a glorious, gracious certainty. Good hearers are good doers. Christians bear the fruit of the Spirit.
Scripture Reading:
1 Cor 15:35-58; Mark 4:26-34
