Disciples Take up Their Cross (Matthew 16:24)
Sermon Overview:
Jesus commands us to go through this process every day - deny yourself, bear your cross and follow me. He is addressing the biggest roadblock to following Him, the most pernicious idol that steals His glory and keeps us enslaved to sin - our self.
Sermon Text: Matthew 16:24
Points:
1. Deny Self
2. Bear your cross
3. Follow Jesus
Scripture Reading: Col 2:6-15
