Luke: The Temptation of Jesus

Sermon Overview:
Luke 4:1-13
Jesus, as the new Adam, the new Israel, the new Son of God submitted himself to the father, and to the Spirit, and walked into the hardship and trial of the wilderness. And there he took on agonizing temptation within his body... and there he overcame. But he didn’t do it for his sake, he did it for our sake.
