Sermon Overview:
When it comes to the story of Jesus, we see God's purposes, providence and ways from the very beginning. It is nothing short of miraculous and faith building to see God at work in the very beginnings of the life of Jesus. We aren't always good at seeing the hand of God because the events of life can seem independent of him. Yet, when we look at the beginning of the life of Jesus, we can see how even the minutest particulars about people, places and events are providentially governed by his all knowing purposes.
