A New Israel (Mark 3:7-19)
Sermon Overview:
Jesus rejects the ancient forms of Israelite government and worship that have rejected Him. The nation of God rejects God, so God rejects the nation. Jesus is the King of a new kingdom that He raises out of the old. A new shoot rises from the stump of Jesse and all the world gathers under its boughs.
