The Necessity of Deacons
Sermon Overview:
Jesus ministered to the physical and spiritual burdens of people, and the office of deacon was created so that the ministry of the church would not be neglected, either in word or deed. A healthy church is a church which doesn’t just hear the word or preach the word, but loves practically by meeting the needs of the church and community at large. Living in the fullness of Christ necessitates a full-bodied ministry.
